Sri Aurobindo Pre-University (Ind.) College is managed by Jnanadeepa Vidya Samste and sponsored by Sri Aurobindo foundation for Education (SAFE), Shimoga. This institution has been moulding competent and capable youngsters into potential professionals of the future, ever since its inception in June 2001. The medium of instruction is English, the curriculum is based on Science subjects namely Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & Statistics and languages like English, Kannada, Hindi & Sanskrit
In a world of deteriorating morality and cut-throat competition, the right kind of education is the biggest challenge before us. Preparing young girls and boys not only to face important examinations at state and national levels, but also to face the crucial test of life, is not an easy task, but Sri Aurobindo PU College has been willingly and successfully fulfilling this task since the last 13 years. We make sure that our system strikes a perfect balance between academics and co-curricular activities, also providing ample scope for sports. We also provide our students with rare opportunities to interact with exceptional stalwarts from different fields in India, and make sure that such exposure opens them up to the best possibilities available for them in future. We realise that no youngster can mould a truly successful life out of academic excellence and talents alone, and therefore we focus on their moral and ethical development as well.
